I opened everything and i´m like a child again…. My eyes sparkled……. It´s wonderfull…. I remembered when i won my first car…. Photos don´t show the beautiful of the kit… looking for it, it’s so better and so beatiful. Congratulations Dave !!!

Now, it´s time to mount it and play and have fun…..  - : )

Do you think you’d be able to give an ETA on the cymbal? I’ll be going away for a few weeks soon and will need to let my landlady know to hold on to it if it’s going to arrive while I’m not home.

20 – 05 – 2010 Walter From Wales, full kit in Green Pearl

 Hi Dave

I built up the kit and it`s just amazing. it works perfectly. Still need to play with the sensitivity controls, but anyway I`m really satisfied.

One qustion: on the drum base there is a piece of red tape, is this the area when I`m supposed to kick with the pedal?

Please le t me know when you will have  the drumtec mash head for the bass drum, that I`ll buy it.

In a couple of weeks i`ll move house and I`ll place my drums kit in a nice area with space and sun, that time i`ll take some picures ans send them to you and i will sign in in the forum and show my smerald drums to the others. hehehehe.

I am so happy with the snare and 4 toms that I received from you. The most important things, the triggering and feel, are brilliant, better than the stock Roland’s. Rim hits are easy, and the rebound feels perfect. They are also quieter and feel easier on my wrists than stock.  Add to that their superb looks and the craftmanship you put into them, and they are far and away the best buy I have made for my drumkit. They multiply the enjoyment I have when playing the kit.

I got them yesterday evening. The boxes were not damaged. Inside was fine. They look, sound, feel, smell, and taste beautiful. And the triggers are perfect. Everything they say about your work is absolutely true. Bravo!  Now I shall sing my praises across the forum as well. 

Thank you so much for the beautiful work. These things are amazing. Now I need to work on drumming to match the sickness of the kit!

Miguel from Madrid (30 – 03 – 2010, snare drum in blue pearl with oval lugs)

Hi Dave, yes, yes!!   It’s here!!  it was arriving three hours a go + / -.

First congratulations. It’s a very very great job, sure very nice.
All details are built with great attention and the snare´s response is excellent. I only had to cut a little snare sensitivity and increase somewhat the sensitivity of the rim, and then very easy to fly away with a response absolutely excellent. All hits and rolls are there with their corresponding level. . . .   So, for me “a very high level product”.

So thank you very much and if you will be arrived to Madrid and have a little time you have a big beer here at least …
