Hey Dave,

I am so very pleased with the drums! I love the color scheme, and have enjoyed looking at them almost as much as playing them! The kit is beautiful with the Bermuda Sand stripes over the black crystal wrap. I actually like this much better than the original idea I had with the blue sparkle.

I got home late last night but was able to wire everything up and play for about 45 minutes (thank goodness for vdrums!) thru headphones at midnight, lol! I sat down this afternoon for a while as well, I am out of the office early today. Man oh man, these babies are really responsive! Seriously, it’s damn near the same as playing an acoustic kit as far as feel, technic and touch. I was able to do rolls, flams, and vary the rim shot sounds with striking the rim/head a bit differently each time. The TD20 seems a far better module than the TD10 I used to use, which helps the sound for sure. But the actual response of the drum triggers is phenomenal! Even the tom rims seem to give me a nice slight tonal variation, as I have programmed that in the TD20. Not a direct hit on the rim, but as I get closer to the edge of the head, approaching the rim, I get tonal changes in the sounds, so the rims on the toms seem to be giving me a great response as well.

Hi Dave

Arrived in Belgium, put the kit together and played an hour non stop.

The feel of this kit is awesome. The difference to an acoustic is very small. I did not even get such a playing impression at the TD20 or a Drumtec kit at Drumtec some month ago.

Especially kick & snare rebounds are sooo close to acoustic.

So all in all both the looks *and* feel is worth every penny!! I will continue practicing daily with this wonderful kit. I am totally amazed by your product.

They landed on wednesday. No damage in travel what so ever, and the drums, oh sweet holy moses!

Super Dave, absolutely gorgeous. Haven’t played to much then yet though, still waiting for the td9 module.

Got a million things to take care of so I’ll be back with a mini review and some pics as soon as I gave them a good try.

Everything looks super … very very happy

I received the snare on Friday and, just as I thought, it’s incredible. Just plug in and go. Great sound, great reception on the two-ply mesh for an authentic acoustic snare feel. I‚Äôm now using my old Roland snare as a rack tom and it immediately feels spongey by comparison to the Diamond snare when I move from one to the other during a fill. Anyway great work, Dave. I will be returning for some other drums when funds allow (maybe a bass drum next). I‚Äôve still got to pay for the Freddie Gee summer course, but once I get that out of the way…

Sorry i haven’t got back to you to let you know the drum arrived ok. I haven’t had access to the internet for a while.

Anyway, what can I say? The drum is stunning. I have used it at a few gigs now with my band and I am absolutely over the moon. I cannot fault anything at all (price, workmanship, packaging and postage). I will definitely be using you again.
